SAM 60/6
The aim of the project for this grid-connected optimized photovoltaic generator is to offer a module of elevated power in a cost effective package. The systems can be from small to medium sized and therefore can be realized using fewer modules, thereby fewer buildings and given that there are fewer interconnections in the line, fewer man-hours are required during installation.
The array composed of 60 156 x 156 mm monocrystalline silicon cells at high efficiency supply maximum power of 250 Wp and can be efficiently produced with an automatic line – resulting in savings during production.
The adoption of the an innovative junction box with die cast wings, other than cooling down the diodes in case of intervention, allows for the heat disposal of the cells relating the surface in contact with the backsheet and thereby increasing the energy yield from the module.
For the interconnectors, SUNAGE uses a silver-based alloy covered copper ribbon that is produced in Germany. This material increases weldability and stability and through a special processing technique also its ductility. The particular textured glass of 4mm is also produced in Germany.
The cells are chosen for an average efficiency of 17.90%. To ensure long-term reliability, we periodically withdraw samples from the EVA production line and execute tests to guarantee that the GEL content is more than 80%. 100% of the modules are tested using an electroluminescent scanner.
The modules in the SAM 60/6 family can be produced, upon request, in the “Laminated” version without frame and are supplied with a white backsheet. Upon request, another version of the module can be produced with black or transparent Tedlar backsheet. All special versions come with our IEC 61215 certificate.
