SPECIAL MODULES FOR ARCHTECTURAL INTEGRATION WITH INNOVATIVE CHARACTERISTICS

The SUNAGE MEGATUILE is an architecturally integrated module especially designed for rooftop systems and conforms to the Feed-in-Tariff now in force. Megatuile replace roof tiles and substitute their function. They can be overlaid and can be assimilated onto elements constituting the roof of the building.

The modules derive from the tried and tested SAM 96/5 but differ only for their special narrower frames featuring drainage channels for rainwater and the sealer lining. They can be installed without any specialized tools or equipment.

They are available in their standard version (white backsheet) or by request Noir (Tedlar and black frames), Translucent (Transparent Tedlar) and Translucent Plus for brilliance.

This product, which has been optimized for grid-connected applications, has a strong point: its capacity to maximize the production of energy even during hours when the sun is not at its peak. That said, it also allows the user to access incentive tariffs due to its “Architectural integration” typology.

The increase of the energy yield is the result of constant investments from SUNAGE in the field of research on materials and technologies of lamination. The new knowledge acquired thanks to tests on experimental modules gets transferred to the production line only after having undergone a thorough cycle of quality control checks performed by respective department experts from the University UPSI of Lugano. To assure reliability in the long term, we periodically withdraw samples of EVA and we execute appropriate analysis in order to verify that all products contain values of GEL no less than 80%. All our modules are tested under an electroluminescent scanner.
